WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT PINE COVE?

We recommend that you start heading out to the retreat site no later than 5:30p. With Friday evening traffic, it will probably take about 2½ hours to drive to Pine Cove from Dallas.

We will start Orientation at 8:00p, so please try to be there by that time. You should plan to arrive no later than 8:30p.

We also encourage carpooling and/or caravanning. You can meet at church, leave your car at the church parking lot, and carpool with a group.

Also, REMEMBER TO EAT DINNER BEFORE COMING. Dinner will not be provided on Friday evening.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
-       Bible, pens, and journal (optional)
-       Extra Blankets
-       Pillows
-       Towels
-       Soap and shampoo
-       Toothbrush and toothpaste
-       Bathing suit
-       Sunscreen
-       Sandals
-       Sneakers
-       Flashlight
 

HOW DO I GET THERE?

DIRECTIONS FROM CHURCH:

1301 Abrams Rd. Richardson, TX 75081

1. Take 635 E for about 10 miles.

2. Take exit 6B to merge onto US-80 E toward Terrell for about 16 miles.

3. Continue on TX-557 Spur E (signs for Tyler/I-20/Shreveport) for about 4 mi

4. Take the exit onto I-20 E for about 56 miles.

5. Take I-20 E to Exit 540 (FM 314) and turn RIGHT (South) on FM 314 and go about 8 miles.

6. Turn LEFT onto HWY 64 and go about 10 miles.

7. Turn RIGHT onto FM 2661.

8. The Shores are approximately 8.7 miles down FM 2661.

9. Turn RIGHT on Pop McKenzie Rd. into the main entrance. The gate code is 1967. This gate is closed from 7pm to 8am.
